Symptoms of botryoid sarcoma

At the onset of the disease, there are usually no special manifestations. When the tumor grows to a certain size, the child has vaginal bloody discharge or irregular vaginal bleeding. At the same time, there is a tumor in the vagina, especially when the child is crying, and the tumor can be seen protruding from the vaginal opening when the abdominal pressure is applied.

Typical botryoid sarcoma is not difficult to diagnose, but because of its low early manifestations, most tumors have reached a considerable size at the time of diagnosis. For infants with abnormal discharge or suspicious performance, vaginal examination should be performed as soon as possible, and a biopsy should be taken immediately for histological diagnosis if the tumor is found. Stage diagnosis: FIGO stages are as follows:

Stage 0: Carcinoma in situ.

Stage I: The cancer is confined to the vaginal wall.

Stage II: The cancer has invaded the tissues around the vagina, but has not reached the pelvic wall.

Stage III: The cancer has reached the pelvic wall.

Stage IV: The cancer has exceeded the true pelvis or has clinically affected the bladder and rectal mucosa.

Stage Ⅳa: The tumor invades adjacent organs or directly expands out of the true pelvis.

Stage IVb: The tumor has spread to distant organs.
