Rickettsiosis (rickettsiosis) is a collective term for a variety of acute infections caused by certain pathogenic microorganisms in the order Rickettsia. It is a worldwide or endemic epidemic, with varying clinical manifestations. The transmission vector is mainly arthropods such as ticks, lice, fleas, and mites. It can also occur due to the scratching and biting of domestic animals such as cats and dogs.
