Brief introduction of nasal polyps

Nasal polyps are common nasal diseases, and are also related to some systemic diseases. It is the result of tissue edema caused by long-term inflammatory reaction of nasal mucosa. Nasal polyps mostly come from the middle nasal meatus sinus ostium, nasal meatus complex and ethmoid sinus, and the highly edematous nasal mucosa swells and droops from the middle nasal meatus and sinus ostium to the nasal cavity to form polyps. Because of the diversity of etiology and obvious postoperative recurrence tendency, it plays an important role in nasal diseases.
