Brief introduction of glaucoma

Glaucoma refers to an eye disease with intermittent or continuous increase of intraocular pressure. Continuous high intraocular pressure can damage all parts of eyeball tissues and visual function. If it is not treated in time, the visual field can be completely lost and blindness can occur. Glaucoma is one of the three major blinding eye diseases that lead to blindness in human beings. The total incidence rate of glaucoma is 1%, and it is 2% after 45 years old.
