Gastroenteritis is hemorrhagic or necrotizing inflammation of gastrointestinal mucosa and its deep tissues. Its clinical manifestations are characterized by severe gastrointestinal dysfunction and different degrees of autopoisoning. Gastroenteritis can be divided into chronic gastroenteritis and acute gastroenteritis.
