2. Pathological examination Biopsy of eyelid conjunctiva or orbital lesions can find that intraocular and lacrimal gland tissues are non-caseous necrotizing granulomatous inflammation, with epithelioid cells accompanied by lymphocytes and multinucleated giant cells forming nodular granuloma.

3. X-ray and CT scan can show bilateral hilar nodular masses.

4. Gallium scan can show abnormal uptake of lacrimal gland and hilum, and characteristic abnormal uptake of gallium. The specificity of diagnosis of sarcoidosis combined with elevated ACE is over 90%.
