Etiology of compressive urticaria

The pathogenesis may be related to kinin.

First, the relationship with inflammatory mediators

Ryan et al. injected mast cell degranulation 48/80 compound into the compressed skin of patients, which could produce delayed wind mass locally. High concentrations of histamine and kinin have been isolated from pressure wind masses, but treatment with antihistamine and antikinin drugs is ineffective. No leukotriene was found in the pressure wind mass. Therefore, leukotriene is not the main pathogenic medium in this disease.

Patients were compared with normal people. Leukocytes can release more histamine and leukocyte chemokines, but this change is nonspecific.

Second, the relationship with serum protein

The lack of serum protease inhibitors will lead to prolonged mediator action, which may explain the formation of delayed wind masses, but the detection of various serum proteases is normal. Due to the large wind mass, pain, similar to congenital angioedema, consider whether there is complement deficiency, but the examination results are normal, and no abnormal serum cellulose, IgC, IgM and ISA are found. 1/4 patients were deficient in serum V ⅲ factor, but there was no bleeding tendency. Lymphocyte culture in vitro showed normal mitogen reaction
